Some discoveries I have made since being called a textile artist, who was once a poet, is still a writer.

  1. You need to learn all the rules and then forget them.
  2. In the wheel of discovery wisdom looks to the centre, youth looks to the rim.
  3. In loving the spiritual you cannot despise the earthly; (actually I have always believed that).
  4. Art is divinely superfluous beauty.
  5. The reach of your compassion is the reach of your art.
  6. Follow your bliss.
