Born in Adelaide in 1951, I spent the first seven years of my life in South Australia and the next seven in Queensland. I came to Hobart as a teenager in 1966 and the weathered profile of Mount Wellington soon came to signify 'home'.

In my thirties I developed a passion for weaving with natural materials. The weaving became, for me, a language with which to explore texture and form in familiar landscapes.

We experience our place on the planet through words, ideas and conversations - like looking at a landscape through a lace curtain.
