Shell collages

My passion for nature and found treasures has taken me to some of the most beautiful beaches in Tasmania. The shells and other found objects in these collages have been chosen for their depth of colour, shape and beauty. All shells are in their natural state and have not been treated in any way to enhance their colour or gloss.

Textile collages

Inspiration for these mixed media collages comes from nature and the environment. I find beauty in the tiniest shell or the discarded scraps of fabrics from the rag bag. The collages are a combination of intricate embroidery, fabrics, papers, semi-precious stones, beads, feathers, found objects and silver.
